Dame Sarah Storey has been named in a four-strong Great Britain Para-Cycling team for the Road World Championships.
The 11-time Paralympic gold medallist is due to give birth this month with the 2013 Championships starting on 29 August in Quebec, Canada.
However Storey, who won world C5 Time Trial and Road Race gold in Denmark two years ago, will take her place in the squad pending a performance test.
Great Britain has until 7 August to submit their final team.
Storey tweeted:  "Performance test for me is to check my comeback after baby arrives. I don't want to travel unless I can win!"

Multi-talented Storey

Sarah Storey won five Paralympic gold medals as a swimmer before switching to cycling. Her 11 gold medals are a joint British record with Tanni Grey-Thompson.
Storey, who won four golds at London 2012 and has been training for up to three-and-a-half hours a day during her pregnancy, said in April that she wants to defend her two world titles.
Both Paul Radcliffe and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson made speedy returns from childbirth to win big-city marathon races.
Meanwhile American Kristin Armstrong won the women's time trial at London 2012 two years after becoming a mum for the first time.
London 2012 medallist Lora Turnham, who won gold in both the road race and time trial at the World Cup in Segovia earlier this year, along with her pilot Corinne Hall will also be part of the team.
Reigning Paralympic road race champion Darren Kenny and six-time Paralympic champion David Stone complete the GB squad.
British Cycling Para-Cycling performance manager Gareth Sheppard said: "The Para-Cycling Road World Championships are the season's target for our road-focused athletes.
"The first year of the Paralympic cycle provides a benchmark to see how the riders can perform against world-class competition."
